The books was written and illustrated by a famous Edwardian artist. She was known for her children's books and her art postcards. This is one of the series of "Chunky" books. It is shaped as a tent and shows three wooden toy boyscouts building a camp fire as a fourth one peeks out from the tent. The book is unpaginated and bound with staples. T he pages are heavy paper. And many have separated along the gutter where the staples lie. The spine is blue cloth sandwiched between the very heavy pictorial boards. There is some edgewear to the boards.
